Obituary for Eva Lorenzen
Eva Alma Lorenzen was born on September 29, 1916 in Homestead Township, rural New York Mills Minnesota. Her parents were the late Peter and Augusta (Renebahm) Lorenzen.Â
Ava attended Country School in Homestead Township and graduated from New York Mills High School with the class of 1934. She attended the University of Minnesota and then moved to New York City.  Eva then made her home back on the family farm in Homestead Township.Â
Around the year 2000 Â Eva made her home in New York Mills. All of her life Eva was a gracious woman, a veracious reader and had the art of making the perfect pie crust.
On January 11, 2018 Eva passed away at the Elders’ Home in New York Mills, Minnesota at 101 years of age. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Preceding Eva in death were her parents; brothers: Milburn, Rolin, and Burton.
Eva is survived by her niece, Nancy (Rick) Dinnel; grandnephews: Steven, Nathan and Michael Dinnel and their families; also many other relatives and a host of friends
