Obituary for Harold Bernu
Harold Midian Bernu was born on April 20, 1924 at home in rural New York Mills, Minnesota. His parents were the late Jalmer and Fanny (Fraki) Bernu. Harold resided with his sister, Wilma on the family farm in Otto Township, rural New York Mills.
Harold enjoyed farming, working on machinery and playing his harmonica. On October 18, 2006 Harold made his home at the Elders’ Home in New York Mills.
On January 28, 2018 Harold passed away peacefully at the Elders’ Home at 93 years of age. Preceding Harold in death were his parents, Jalmer and Fanny; siblings: Wilma, Norma, Clinton, Lester, Floyd and Eino.
Harold is survived by his sister, Vida Aiken of Haysville, Kansas; many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and a host of friends.
