Obituary for Mark Wutzke
Mark Alan Wutzke was born on February 21, 1964 in Wadena, Minnesota. His parents were the late Alfred and Theresa (Cameron) Wutzke. He was baptized and confirmed at St. Frederick’s Catholic Church in Verndale, Minnesota. He attended Verndale High School and graduated with the Class of 1982. After high school Mark attended the University of Minnesota Morris, and graduated with a degree in Chemical Engineering. In 1986, he then went on to the University of North Dakota and received his Master’s Degree in 1992. On September 29, 2007 Mark was united in marriage to Connie Lancaster in Staples, Minnesota. They made their home on Sugar Lake in Annandale, Minnesota. Mark was employed with Agilent Technologies as a Field Service Engineer. Mark loved his job and the many opportunities he had to travel with it. Mark enjoyed hunting and fishing, snowmobiling, four wheeling, cooking, gardening, sitting around a campfire and making people laugh. He loved to spend time with his family, friends and his bunnies, Princess and Buddy. On February 13, 2018 Mark passed away at Quiet Oaks Hospice House with his wife by his side. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Preceding Mark in death were his Parents: Alfred and Theresa Wutzke; and Grandparents: Alex and Leona Cameron and Jay and Johanna Wutzke along with aunts, uncles, and cousins who were very close to him.
Mark is survived by his loving wife, Connie; Sisters: Nancy (Don) Johnson; Katie Moore and Mary Jo (Jay) Schroeder; Brothers: James (Theresa) Wutzke and Mike (Becky) Wutzke; many other relatives and a host of friends.
A celebration of Mark’s life will be held at a later date.
